Junior Teen Camp is for students entering Grade 6 to entering Grade 8. We are thrilled this year to be able to split our junior and senior teen camps to allow a tailored experience for this age group.

Junior Teen Camp will be full of activities of all kinds: from wide games like Mission Impossible, to Camp Fires, to swimming, archery, water fights and more. Our services are engaging and high energy - and designed to meet you where you are at and help you understand who God is, and what you mean to Him, in a real way.

This year our services will differ a bit. We still meet for dynamic worship twice a day and engaging encounters in the evening with our speakers, but our mornings will take more of a mentorship feel. Our speakers will each take a small group with whom they will spend the week sharing and imparting in a more interactive session. Our desire this year is to be more intentional on connecting our young people with adults so that they feel known, heard, and spoken to regarding their needs and lives.

Director: April Howard

Speakers: Josh & Tif Wyatt, Phil & Stacey Simms, Nick Helliwell

PRICING CHANGE FOR 2024

Trossachs Camp relies heavily on community support and fundraising in order to make our registration costs accessible. Due to rising costs of food and other supplies, we have had to shift our registration fees. The fee increase still does not fully reflect the actual cost per camper, but helps bring us a bit closer.

We recognize that finances can be challenging for some of our families. We are offering two levels of registration fees this year: our regular cost and a 30% subsidized fee. There are no questions asked and no application is required for the subsidized fee.

If you require additional support, please email us directly.

Speakers/Mentors: Josh & Tif Wyatt, Nick Helliwell, Phil & Stacey Simms

Knowing this is a vital age for development and that there is a strong need to be heard and understood and spoken to at their level, we have expanded to a larger speaker/mentorship team this year. Evening services will feature dynamic messages. Mornings will see our campers put into mentorship groups with a speaker who will provide interactive messages in a smaller group setting with the intent on deepening relationship and connection.

Josh & Tif Wyatt

Joshua & Tif got married in 2005 & have been Serving in Ministry since 2007. They have 2 children, Anna & Seth and a Cat named Bullet.

God has Equipped them by Serving in various types of Ministry to Kids, Teens & Young Adults over the years in Saskatoon & Lloydminster. In August of 2015, they moved to Beaubier SK where they have a Heart for the surrounding communities.

Their Hope is to Encourage people to KNOW, LOVE & FOLLOW God. Both Josh & Tif create safe spaces to experience the love of God. They have a love for outdoors and zany hijinks: one of the two of them has been rumored to bring a chainsaw to service!

Nick Helliwell

Nick has an incredible story of the faithfulness of Jesus.

Nick is an indigenous Christian of Nēhiyawa (cree) heritage. Nick is from the Peepeekisis First Nation.

While he is proud of his indigenous heritage, Nick's spiritual identity is firmly founded upon Jesus Christ.

Nick's ministry to first nations spans and is infused into all other areas of ministry, and includes distribution of both print and audio bibles in Cree. Nick is involved with a number of Regina ministries, and has been a valued speaker at Bible camps in the province. He has a fantastic laugh and love for people, and seeing young people understand their authentic identity as who God has created them to be.

Phil & Stacey Simms

We are thrilled to have Phil and Stacey Simms returning to us this summer! Last year Stacey shared a lot about her health journey and her remarkable story: we prayed she would return again in good health this year! Stacey currently works in support of the Suicide Helpline and has extensive experience providing supports for addictions and trauma.

You may know Phil by his stage name, Philly5 - hip hop recording artist. Phil is the student pastor at King's Corner Church and works with youth and young adults in Regina and area. Phil is always up for shooting hoops. Both Phil and Stacey have a passion for Jesus, and for fun.
